In my poetry chapbook, Built to Last, I weave the voices of survivors into poems to take a fearless look at domestic violence and the support systems that make it possible to heal from the trauma.
The Hope Pyx Global Conference on Abuse and International Book Awards will take place in Houston, Texas on October 20-21, 2022.
The Conference and Book Awards are designed to raise awareness for prevention, provide education and CEU credits, resources, and networking opportunities for survivors, advocates, providers, and community partners to end abuse together and recognize those who have overcome adversities and have spoken out through books, spoken word, visual arts, music, or film.
